If you want to build flat subboxes yourself, you should take a closer look at the new Crunch GTi woofers with aluminum cones. Their parameters are optimized for small, sealed housings, especially when not much installation depth is available. Nevertheless, the woofers are equipped with decent magnets and voice coils for large Xmax. The 8-inch model is already equipped with a 38 mm voice coil and 41 ounce magnet, while the larger models with generous 50 mm coils and 51 ounce magnet provide even more power. Push terminals and punched T-plates are further quality features of the GTi woofers.
